A national push toward the secure electronic exchange of confidential patient clinical information is occurring throughout Ohio and across the nation. This data exchange will enable physicians, hospitals, laboratories, pharmacies and all healthcare entities involved to quickly and effectively respond, diagnose, treat and coordinate the proper care for their patients. Eligible Professionals utilizing this federal funding for meaningful use are entitled to up to a $63,750 payment from Medicaid and a $44,000 payment from Medicare.
